Unable to run WaW

I can't get past the main menu. When I click on Play, a dialog box pops up saying that WaW has encountered a problem. Other matrix games such as War in the Pacific and Flashpoint Germany run just fine.

The problem is your "VM Additions S3 Trio32/64" graphics controller it uses shared RAM (of which you have only 512mb available for the whole system) and is not DirectX9 compatible.
