Japan vs Allied AI

Post by Warspite3 »

Tried a different strategy this time, decided to go straight for US and ignore china. For china, I just put a few reinforcement militia here and there. Started production on 3 new carriers and then started research on only CAGs... evasion, torpedo, speed and ship attack. Let US declare war on its own but it was not until W43'. Well as expected my CAGs inflicted major damage, I kept the US pacific fleet away and held them off for a very long time. I dished out a ton of damage! Oh, don't worry, they fought back, eventually taking me down. [X(] This mighty carrier fleet was indeed defeated, I was enventually outnumbered and out supplied.

Over time, this prooved to be just a bad strategy. I gave up too many resources to fight a long war and ended up with nothing left. US subs wreaked havoc on my supply ships to the point of me not having anything left. Then on top of all of this china actually started attacking me and taking over my territories. An all CAG research strategy may work out good but not the way I done it. I say do the same research but take china out and grab some of the resource pacific areas like phillipines. Then attack US asap. I waited too long which is something you can't do. Hit them early and hard, still remains the best strategy. Back to the drawing board. [:)]

Oh, the score was approximately 768 axis and over 2400 allies [:o] and it ended in a draw. Strange, I was expected to completely lose. This was the normal difficulty.
