crashing

Post by pmelheck1 »

I can run WAW for a little bit and my machine reboots at random. Not a CTD but a hard reboot.

Thank you

Mullk,

Your drivers appear to be recent and your DxDiag seems in order. You could update your sound drivers to see if that helps, however, in these cases, reboots are most often due to hardware issues related to heat. Have you had any fans stop working recently? What temperature does your CPU generally run? Have you found your machine rebooting in any other situations? Is anything in your system overclocked? Thanks.

Aletoledo,

Both your sound and video drivers need to be updated before we can rule out drivers as the cause of the problems you are experiencing. Your sound drivers in particular are from 2001 and can't be assumed to be DirectX 9 compatible. Please update both and let me know if that helps.

Regards,

- Erik

I also have the same issue, PC is ok on all other software so far but not this game, It will reboot my system every time randomly during the 1st tutorial. The temp and fans seem ok according to Asus probe.

I just tried a full game. lasted 10 min. Had sound turned off as well as music and combat annimation. Turned the sound back up didn't seem to hurt it. But at about 10 min into the movement phase, REBOOT!

Seems like a buggy game to me.[&:]
