download speed

download speed

picked up the game,on the sales screen download speed is stated at 53 mins for cable,no problems

go to save the download and its coming in at a pathetic 24 kb/sec this is going to take 3 hours plus

this is like the dial up days,will it get faster?

anybody know

The server is fast as hell, it might also probably be a bottleneck between your ISP and our sever. Hard to tell withouth a "trace route".

One problem with cable is that you share the bandwith with other cable users in your area......so it can be that there were quite a few people using cable at the time you attempted to download........
