SD Question; timing of dawn for visibility

Post by thekossack »

I am designing a scenario where I want to include pre-dawn, low visibility action, then eventually have visisbility increase with the approach of morning.

Does the engine account for this?
If so, when does it occur?

Any info much appreciated.

No - it's a good idea but you set the visibility in the editor and you only get one setting. You probably want 5-10 visibility.

Here we roll Don <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

..but you can try smoke if there is enough turns. Smoke disappears when turns goes. So buy some arty save and play it. Smoke the areas, save and convert save in Freds editor to scenario. Get back to work. This is how I do it. There is other way to get dawn-mist at the battlefield, but I don't remember it, as this has worked fine for me.
