World at War On Gamespot and Mikrobitti!

Post by JosephL »

Gamespot has given World at War an 84% giving it a 9/10 in both Gameplay and Value!

Also today: Mikrobitti, the largest magazine in Finland and Scandanavia (Circulation of 350,000) gave World at War an 83% as well! Unfortunately I can not translate the print document so I will have to rest on the belief that an 83% is pretty darn good!

Here are the main points of the Mikrobitti review in English:

+ Fast to play
+ Although simple, has much depth
+ Logistics
+ Have to decide between troops, research, supply etc.
+ Rather challenging AI

- Forced historicity, unlike in Paradox games
- No diplomacy
