RFTS (TOO MANY BUGS)

First off, I'm not happy with this game. Everytime I have played this it has CTD or caused me to restart my PC at least once when playing. Matrix should have made sure this game would run with no issues before re-releasing it.
Second question, is Matrix planning on making a patch for this game or is my 19.99 just flushed down the tolet?

I'm running XP Pro 512MB ram768 processer.32MB ram Video card (ATI).

I'm sorry you've been experiencing problems. As I've posted in several places, we are working with SSG on a patch for early this week. It appears that some of the issues slipped into the last round of changes to adapt RFTS to digital download and were not caught. Hang on and I think you will be quite happy with your purchase once the patch is released.

well tried the new beta patch and after 85 turns, the game CTD, at least it did not lock up my computer, so at least that is something.

Glad it solved your reboot issue. Please post a DxDiag file for us if you continue to have CTDs as a regular occurrence. Follow the instructions in the pinned thread in this forum on how to create and post a DxDiag file. Thanks.

played for 95 turns this time before game crashed, so far not having much fun, but on a bright note computer has not froze.

The crashes you've been experiencing, do you have a save file or autosave that duplicates those for you? If so, please e-mail it to me at erikr@matrixgames.com. In our testing v1.41 eliminated these issues but as some remain for you we'd like to take a look and see what we can do.

Not sure what 768 processor is...

I'm on XP Home, 512MB ddr266 ram, 1.8ghz pentium 4, 32mb all in wonder ATI radeon 7200 4x AGP video...

Have you ensured you have the latest driver for your 32MB card?

I've had no CTD but I've not played scenarios , I've played all as random setup games...
