That's a small sample. That game is being developed and here's a forum link with a lot more pictures.

Sorry, I don't know much about it. I didn't even know it had anything to do with OFP. I just stumbled upon that yesterday.

So they do that for what purpose? Any idea whether it would be possible to make a game look that good?

I found this info on an OFP website:

The Flashpoint 2 site has been updated, the video has been removed and we can see an OUT OF SERVICE red message instead!

As the Codemasters logo has been removed from the site design and since Bohemia Interactive will show the OFP sequel on E3 without a publisher, We can guess they had to change the OFP Sequel name since "operation flashpoint" belongs to Codemasters...

That's only suppositions and logical deduction from the OFP.info crew however...

There's a thread about it in our forums.

I am not a fan of codemasters by a long shot, and see a trend of vaporware in the wargamming gender from them(hero's of WWII is not a wargame). OFP was one of the all time FPS classics, and I was hoping they would change publishers.

Maybe we try to can get Matrix to pick this title up, if there is actually a title/engine that is [:D]

Very nice. It does look very Photoshop-ed, though. The precise line of the barbed wire at the bottom of the screen's frame, the out of focus trees (have'nt seen a game do that yet, and I have OFP) in the background, the difference in the sun's position on the Stug and the trees in the back...

The shots from Invasion '44 look good as they are, I just wish they would put a disclaimer when a pictue has been "beautified" (even though they don't need it).

All I can say is that Heroes of WWII (SHOWW2) is the best RTS I've ever played, though it has a pretty good amount of inaccuracies, but then I think it's trying to be more fun than anything. In any event with the last post I had it appears they don't have a publisher for OFP2, hence Matrix might be a good idea as you say.

I'm playing Guild Wars ATM and it uses that effect.
