New campaign - Drive to Tunisia

Post by Kharan »

I'm posting a desert campaign made by a friend. It's about Montgomery's Operation Pugilist in Southern Tunisia against Italian forces. The length is about 5 battles.

Download here and unzip to \campaigns.

ps. If you want to include this in V7, feel free.

Anybody finish this, comments? I thought it was fairly fun, although this is the only campaign I've ever played.

The file is and has been up for the whole time... I don't know why some have had problems. Try this instead.

Have not finished it yet but I would recommend it. The scenarios are very well constructed, there's a few surprises and plenty of tense moments.
German forces are very tough and dangerous. The Italian forces are, well, not.

Repair points are reasonable. Of course they are never enough, but they were sufficient to keep me in the game.
I played most, if not all of these scenarios with Command on.

Results - (my score first)
Game 1 2318-1922
Game 2 4080-731
Game 3 1615-4358
Game 4 6104-228

They struggled with a ferocity that was to be expected of brave men fighting with forlorn hope against an enemy who had the advantage of position......knowing that courage was the one thing that would save them.

Here's another link if anyone's still having problems.

I got two draws, two decicives and one marginal victory (not necessarily in that order) with a core of one inf company, 2 rec platoons, a Churchill IV platoon (these had over 60 kills all put together in the end) and some support vehicles.
