Question on Replays

Post by TOCarroll »

[&:] How in the heck DO you review your opponent's last move. The only place I see the remote control is on the strategis map, where all the troops are little dots, so you can't really tell what he did. I know this is dumb, but it would really help if someone enlightened me.

Clicking on the 2 little arrows ">>" (or are they "<<") on the menu bar (or whatever it is called) brings up the VCR. You then click on the play button (">") on the VCR to replay last turn.

[&:] On some (not all) the PBEM games using the new patch (1.033), when I try to run a replay of the turn, the remote control is blank, and does not work. Is this a bug? All of the games this happens in are games which started as version 1.016.[:@]

I noticed the blank VCR control a view times as well, though in my post 1.033 patch games that I've started fresh I have yet to see it again.

[:D] I just got a blank remote (VCR Control), but I remembered which button did what, and it still works. In fact, youcan see through it, so maybe it is an undocumented improvement.[&:]

Nice that the controller doesn't get in the way. [:'(]
