PBEM Help...

Need some help. Transferred both files to save folder. Ran witp001.pws and watched the replay. Then try to load witp002.pws and it loads half-way and asks me for a password. Did not type anything in and then hit OK like I did initially, and it sends me back to menu screen. I tried my CD Key, hitting esc, hitting cancel, using my forum password, but for some reason, it keep sending me back to the game menu. Any thoughts? My version is 1.50 and I used a fresh install with 1.30 cum patch/1.40/1.50. Had no probs with my initial turn. We are now on 08 DEC.

Edit, one other thing, we did a Dec 7th Suprise, historical start off, vary setup.

PBEM start sequence for historical first turn

1. Japanese sets all game parameters, loads scenario.
2. On request, Japanese sets password, does save
3. Japanese sends save file to Allied
4.. Allied player loads save
5. On request, Allied player sets password, does save
6. Allied player sends save to Japanes player

NOTE THAT NO ONE HAS GIVEN ANY ORDERS AS YET

7. Japan loads save, watches first turn combat, gives orders, ends turn, does save and sends game file and replay file to Allied player
8. Allied player loads replay
9. Allied player loads save file, gives orders, ends turn ands sends game file to Japanese player

etc.

Are you asked for Player 1 password ? - then it is still in Japanese Player turn, turn is not closed (game is just saved)

BTW, if you receive turn for the first time than there is no replay file....order of play is Japanese Orders, Allied Orders and than back to Japanase player who run resolution and continue with his Orders phase...

don't forget to hit the end orders phase, turn won't be finished until you do, once you hit the button (upper red arrow type at top of screen) should take you to the save game section. save game and send both files
