Glad the reviewer liked it, though a few things about the review suprised me:

- He thinks Alexander the Great was strictly 2D?
- The manual is a "lengthy tome" (at 30 pages, including covers)
- It has a high learning curve?

I guess everything is a matter of your frame of reference, but these comments surprised me. The score however is very nice and his comments on the AI and gameplay were great.

Always remember that reviewers come in all types. Some of them come from the background that Axis and Allies was a challengeing game of strategy (and it was to them). Others come from the background that War in the Pacific just isn't detailed enough...

You get all types :-)

Also, while the TS system takes only a few minutes to learn, it takes a lot longer before you can win consistently - it depends what you mean by "learning curve", I guess. Even so, anyone finding the TS learning curve "high" is likely to have a heart attack with many of your other games.

Personally, I don't agree with "The attempt to convince players that they are moving real tin soldiers on a table seems half-hearted here." either. Maybe he thinks the hand should be rather bigger (with chewed and nicotine stained nails? [;)]) next time? [8|]
