Atmosphere and immersion

Post by wodin »

What a is the immersion and atmosphere like in the game. DO you get a sense of time. Does it feel like a major ancient battle is taking place or is it more like a chess game?

I find in turn based games sound effects become THE most important item with regards to atmosphere and immersion (ever wathced a horror movie with the sound off, it just isnt scary anymore). How are these in the game?

this second opus is mutch more interesting than the first one.
So far I have only play agains the celt but for now the system work s better because there are less difference between the different units.
there are no super crasy unit like the elephant and the scenarios are more interesting. You must realy fight and not only find a subterfuge to reach the flags.
It's realy a pity to not be able to play agains an human as there is no PBEM[:(]
