In Game Music

Post by EricGuitarJames »

Korsun Pocket is not one of my favourite games for all sorts of reasons, but one of them is the dreadful (imho) in game music. I passed on BiN due to the subject matter (how many Normandy games does a wargamer need?[:D]) but BiI is something I'm quite interested in acquiring. So, has the music improved? And can you now turn it off? This isn't a 'breaker' but it would be useful to know when weighing up whether to actually buy or not.

Me thinks it's the same as BiN.

I did turn it off as it disturbed the native fauna.

(It woke the possums up and they're hard to get quiet again).

IMHO, it is about the same as BiN, better than KP.

They brought back my favorite tune from KP/AO..."The Last Blitzkrieg". That IMO is a haunting wargame tune that just expresses the emotion of war[X(]. Really, i've always liked it, i believe IIRC it was written by Steve Fawkner of Warlords/SSG fame... another brilliant man. The rest so far is the same music from BiN, i sometimes actually find myself humming the "Afrika Korps" song.
