Trouble with Starting Game

Sorry if this has been adressed previously but I've searched the forums and have been unable to find any mention of my problem. I bought and installed WitP some time ago and played it for a couple of months. Just last week I finally had the time to play again and came to the forums and downloaded all the patches up to 1.50 and installed them. Since I did that I have been unable to get the game to start and am getting a Fatal Error 770 message. Is there something I'm missing or do I need to reinstall the game or what?
