Lost serial number

Post by sstarer »

I have GGWaW. I lost the CD sleeve in which it was shipped. It's got a serial number printed on it that is needed in order to apply updates. How can I obtain a replacement?

I have the CD, the box, rules, the whole thing. I can mail back whatever is needed. I'm in the middle of a PBM with my buddy, and he updated already, so I'm stuck until I get current. What do I do?

thanks much.

Log into the Matrix shop and check the "status" of your order.

Somewhere there ought to be the serial number.

Hi,

I purchased World at War a month or two ago from a store. Since then I inadvertently chucked the sleeve with serial number in the process of moving. I have it in a clear case; I am not sure if that came with the packaging or not. I want to load the patch that I have downloaded, but it will not let me do so. How do I retrieve the number?

Thanks for the help.

By the way, when I end my movement phase using the upper right red arrow button, it skips my production phase: it asks if I want to end this phase (movement) but then I do not get to produce; I get skipped. No new units are registered when I click on their buttons....Lastly, in the tutorial II, it mentions seeing numbers, such as 15/7, refering to propulation and resource values. I dont see those numbers. I know I am a numbskull, but this could be a new low!

As long as the game is still loaded, you can get it from within your registry. Open REGEDIT and go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Matrix Games \ Gary Grigsby's World at War

and the "authorized" key will contain your serial number.
