Remount alternate vehicle?

My condolences to those effected by todays tragedy.

Q: Can a crew that has abandonded its vehicle remount an alternate vehicle that has also been abandonded?

Crews can only operate the vehicle they abandoned. Even if the vehicle is of the same type, crew will not operate someone else's vehicle.
