Still learning - Naval Supply Q

Post by Gargoyle »

I use Advanced supply with Auto and Area.

Once I had a fleet off the shore of Norway with no transports in that area or an adjacent sea area. I tried to use my fleet and it said it was not supplied.

Would a transport in the adjacent sea area been able to supply the fleet or would there also have to be a transport WITH the fleet?

I love this kind of stuff, but I must say the complexity of this game is greater than I thought, and I actually won as Germans in HOI2!! LOL.

You need to have supplies either on a transport in the sea zone or on land next to the sea zone for the fleet to be in supply. Even if the transport is in the sea zone you need to move supplies to the transport for the fleet to move. Bad news about this is that the transport is stuck for the turn, so if you move all the naval units away it is vulnerable to attack as it can not retreat. [:(]

It is not very hard to win as Germans in HOI2, now if you said you had world domination with Japan, then I would be more impressed.[8D]
