Ind III Corps part of ANZAC?

Post by velkro »

In my CHS 1.0 game, Scen 155, the III India Corps HQ started in Dehli and was a subordinate unit of ANZAC. I had to pay PP to convert it to SE Asia.

Is this supposed to be that way? Also, on Christmas Is. (IO), the unit that starts there is also part of ANZAC.

By all rights, III Indian Corps HQ should start the game in Malaya. Never understood why it is not in the stock scenerios.

III. Indian Corps seems to be an error (probably caused by the introduction of a restricted India Command). Christmas Island/IO was an Australian possession (but guarded by Indian forces), this should be correct.

No - the ANZAC command for III Indian Corps is an error. My fault.

Christmas Island could go just about any way - small garrison of Indian Troops with British Officer/NCOs on an Island now administered by Australia (not 100% sure if it was back then).

It's a fixed unit anyway. Changing HQ still doesn't allow you to load the unit. Giving it ANZAC is probably the best choice since it's closer to ANZAC than SE ASIA. (my opinion)
The older I get, the better I was.
