Game won't load

Just downloaded and installed Battles in Italy. When I click on the shortcut icon, the game menu screen opens, but then when I click on "Play" nothing happens. Alternatively, when accessing the game via Programs>Battles in Italy>Battles in Italy Quick Start, I get the following error message: "The ordinal 11 could not be located in the dynamic link library DSOUND.dll". I re-downloaded the installer, in case the file had been corrupted in the original download...I reinstalled, and these problems persist. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi Jim,
Could you please send your dxdiag file to support@ssg.com.au. It sounds like a directsound issue - perhaps a problem with your direct installation. I would try installing the latest version of directX to start.
