Cannot run the demo!!

I downloaded the demo from Matrixgames and is installed correctly, but when I try to start it, I get a black screen, I can hear music but the screen remains in black and I cannot see nothing. I can hear noises from buttons If I push some keys but nothing more.
Any help??

My system is PIV 3.4 1024DDR and GforceFX5200-128Mb using WinXp professional with service pack 2

I have a similer problem however my computer gave me abit more help. It said "Cannot display this video mode; Change computer display input to 1024 by 768 pixils @60 Hz" However here's the bizare part; my computer is already set at that. But maybe it's telling me that the game runs at another setting and it wants me to change it back to 1024 by 768 pixils @60 Hz.

Either way, can anyone help us?
