Upgrade for desert megacampaign?

I have just installed the mega campaign. I noticed it was vers 5.3

I also notice that SPWAW is up to 6.1

The patch on the matrix site says that to use the 6.1 patch SPWAW must be 5.2?????????

Can I safely apply the 6.1 patch to my 5.3 installation? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Yep, the path is for SPWAW versions 5.2 or greater. So you can safely apply the upgrade on version 5.3
