Terms of surrender bug..

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Terms of surrender bug..

Post by Latour_Maubourg »

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but:

Whenever a nation surrenders to me, you have a certain amount of points you can spent, between 2250 and 7500 I think. However the other day I found out that it doesn't matter what you ask from them you get it! Austria surrendered and I spent up to 72.000 (!) points in damage payments, ceding provinces, long term alliances, defence pacts, liberating provinces etc. etc.... while I could only spent 7500 points. I thought they'd never agree to that and would throw some Mozartkugels at my head, but no. To my pleasant surprise the next turn my events log stated that they ratiffied the treaty and indeed I got what I wanted. Very nice but very unrealistic.

I also tried it with other countries and the same happened there.

I believe I am interested in exploiting it.
