Waste

Post by JagWars »

How is money effected by waste?
In a standard campaign as Britain, by 1810, income waste as represented on the Economy screen had reached 30% of the total income. I had only the two armies with which I started and one additional corps. Total active army is six cavalry, six artillery, three guards, and eight infantry. I had managed to capture four fleets (two Frenc, one Dutch, one Spanish). I have ten more ships than with which I started. With so much revenue going to waste, I cannot afford to maintain this rather modest army.

There are of corse an host of militia housed in the cities of the British Isle. The only addition provinces that I have is Hanover (which I had to take back from the French) and Flanders. Portugal and Denmark are protectorates. Their forces are holed up within thier cities.

Anyone have a clue as to what is creating the massive money waste?

Also, there was a post from Jchastainon resource and production waste a while back. For most items, it was stated that waste kicked in once production exceeded ten. Is this ten per province or ten per nation?

Welcome to the forum.

Your waste might be down to the limit on "savings" - roughly 2000 IIRC plus this turns surplus.. it could be you have reached this limit.

Also check out the various threads and guides on waste.

All waste is calculated for the entire nation (not province-by-province). Sob.
