...an enemy SturmTiger fires at one of your tanks and misses but decimates the enemy infantry in the surrounding hexes?

I agree. Right now the explosive effect on a miss seems much more than a hit on the target itself. However, it have been discussed and I thinks they are going to fix it in v7

I wasn't complaining, just noting that it amuses me when it happens. I especially hate SturmTigers because they fire at my tanks and the near miss kills my infantry and (worse)my bailed-out crews.

I remedy some of this by making my infantry ride the tanks. However, a non penetrating hit would cause the infantry to lost some men, dismount, then the explosion gets them again

Timc: I'll give you one to mull over, I had to laugh when it happened to me. Attacking a Matilda in an entrenched condition, aircraft demolishes tank, crewman bails out, aircraft continues to bomb hex, crewman hauls butt and drags entrenchment with him, instant cover ???, by the way he got it on the next aircraft pass. Not a Bug just funny.

¿ Don't you think that aircraft are extremely effective on ground support in later versions of SPWaW?. The fact that an enemy aircraft go over your troops on earlier versions was not so terrible than in v6.1, specilly with uncovered and unarmored troops, but also happens with tanks (Once I lost 2 shermans and 1 suppresed none of them located on the same hex, when a german plane Do17 cames over them).

Sorry if I go out of Topic.
