Small flanking battles with Soveit T34-76mm and SU-85mm. Infantry kill a couple squads and drives a few SMG plt.s back. Panthers kill a couple of AT-guns and shoot a couple of crew men. Our flame-guns, (Norwegian 105mm FH WF’s), have effected the enemy’s moral. Appearently they also scored a few hits on their armor. Das ist allest…….

Wehrmacht armor moving forward. Soviet assault tanks headed staright for our Troops. Turn 4 going well, for both sides. Even battle so far. Allies are heavy on the 82mm Mortors.

WC 05 Turn 8

Gutten Morgen Mein Herr it's 06:00 HRS. The Battle has been raging for the last two
Hours. Russian OT-34mm Flame tanks, SMG & Engineers have taken the Center V-hex.
We lost our last two Cezch Flame tanks and two squads of Inf. in a 3 to 1 battle. Several of
our Tiger tanks and Panthers have gone to punish Ivan for his boldness. We killed two
T-34mm's and drove off several Inf units but failed in completely taking back the area.
Heavy bombardment by our 105mm FH's should help. Hopfully our Armor units will
survive their counter attack. If we're lucky, our support units my route them so they may
not be able to attack next turn. The battle to the North has become a search and destroy
mission. We have killed a 45mm ATG unit & halftrack, a 76.2mm FH Field Artillery unit,
one SU-85mm and several hits on a T34mm and another SU-85mm. The Soviet T34-85
Flame units are lurking some where in the center wooded area. Information is not clear...

Achtung !!! WC 05 Turn #9-#10-#11.
What a battle. One or two Panthers taking on a pack of T-34's and SU-85's. Most the action has become search and destory Missions.
I've lost atleast one Panther this turn. Two to his direct counter attack , one to my stupidity. Northern assault going Well, Killed Three 76.2mm FH Units and taking more ground. Intellagence says main force seems to be located in the center streaching South West.
Lost two tanks to a SU-122. Glad I have a few Tigers roaming around....

Turn 13 Two SU-85's moving toward the North. [:-] Heavy Bombardment from Enemy Mortors. [X(] Two more mortor teams die in the North, closing in on the rest. SU-76 killed in far North in open field. Tigers and Troops advancing,[&o] Enemy is bombarding Center V-hexs with everything he's got. No enemy troop movements detected.[>:] Das ist allest...........

WC 05 Turn 14 Grodno Russia 7/11/44

Achtung!!! Tigers advancing, T-34m42's met head on with advancing Assault Force. One Kev-flame tank crew driven from their vehicle, Three T-34's killed.One 76.2mm FH crew shot down to one crew member left. Two SMG squads pushed back in the Center Sector. Pzkfw-IV-H's supported by Stug's push far into the rear lines of the Northern Sector. Two more 82mm mortor teams killed. Two T34's and Two SU-85"s seen on road leading north waitting to ambush our Troops. Tigers Kill Three T-34's in Northen Sector. A Tiger in the south kills a sniper out on patrol. Cezh Infantry not very dependable under Fire. Will have to send a note to the Furher. They're good for spotting but thats about it, although their Engineers do alot work ( minelaying) in a short time. Closing in on the remainder of the Enemys field Artillery.

WC 05 Turn 15
The Enemy is bringing up their SU-122's, Smoke covered their last known position. Tigers still moving forward, Our engineers are now prepaired to join the fight. Stug III's and the remaining Panthers are driving south from the Northern Sector. I think We have cleared all the 81mm mortor and 76.2 cm FH units from that area. Kompfgruppe in the Center has retaken the V-hexs. The enemy SU-85's are located just "NE" of the Center. Our southern Kompfgruppe is ready and advancing on the Southern V-hexs. WC 05 Turn 20 10:00 HRS.
The Sun is up and the smoke is starting to clear,except for our last Artillery Barriage. The Enemy is down to their last few Units, Or atleast that was the propoganda we've been recieving. However mein Herr We can report that 4 more SU-85's have died, and The Soviets HQ squad. The remaining Units should not be hard to route. No mortor fire has fallen this round. One lone 76 Fh has fired smoke. One SU-85 sighted to the North. Rear Enemy V-hexs are about to be taken by our Northern and Center Kompfgruppe. Our Southern Gruppe has not done as well......[8|]

WC 05 Turn 21 10:30 HRS.

Nothern and Center Kompfgruppes have converged on the enemys' rear V-hexs. Several Tank crews either killed, surrendered or dispursed. One lone T-34m41 in the south and One SU-85 in the North. Both surrounded by Lions , Tigers, and Bears. Bombardment of the southern V-hex has begun. Our Troops are moving toward the last objective. Das ist allest........

WC 05 Last Turn of Red II vs Ironfist (Turn 24). A long Hard Battle which only turned to My favor near the last Eight turns. Red's Armor reinforcements arrived to late to make an impack in the game, although they did arrive in the far north behind my Troops. They could have cut my Kompgruppe in Half. The score was listed as 18,000 to 11,000 Draw. Give or take a few points. I'm Glad the WC goes by total points. I was routing the Russian Troops and think I could have pulled a minor win out of it, if it had gone the full 30 turns. Thanks for a great Battle Red.. I'll take my Prisoners and go home..[:D]
