New Officers

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

New Officers

Post by Grand_Armee »

I've been playing the 1792 scenario, and my borders stretch from the Rhine to the ends of ancient Poland, and south to the Swiss alps. All good, yeah?

Bad thing though...I've only got two officers left. I read somewhere in the manual that if you lose many of them, the game will automatically give you more.

Sadly, I lost my king long ago, and "Old Forwards" just recently. I'm left with Hohenlohe and Brunswick.

Will I get more that arrive historically like they do in the 1805 game?

The only thing saving me in combat is that most of my infantry divisions have morale over 7.

New - a few, a very few.
Promoted - IIRC it doesn't happen.

I have amended my leader files to allow all the leaders from the various scenarios to become available to each nation as time progresses starting in the 1792 scenario eg Napoleon turns up for France in 1796!

IIRC the patch will increase the chance of a random leader being created after a big and bloody battle.

I've received a handful in 1792 campaign.

I believe the patch will increase the rate at which we see new leaders appear.

Do you get any sort of notification, such as a pop-up or a note in the Events listing? Or do they just appear on the main map and wait to be noticed?

They get a line in the events report when they appear.
