You only have to have the serial nimber if you downloadedthe mega download those you have to pay for. sounds to me like you did the wrong download. There is two down loads the free one and the one with the mega which is not free that one you need the serial number for.

You don't register the free version of SP, only the General's Edition, which you pay money for.

I thought the SpWaW Generals Edition was free ? Mine had no Mega-campaign file at all in it. Question: Can the Mega Campaigns Game Disc be uploaded to Generals Edition ???

SP General's Edition is the game + all four Mega-campaigns. The game by itself is free. And you can't upgrade it; the Mega-campaigns used to be available seperately, but that has been discontinued.
