Strange Behaviour of Marshal Victor

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Strange Behaviour of Marshal Victor

I've just lost another enjoyable game and noted that after a truly abortive attempt to invade England, the French leader Victor was left on his own in the England province without troops I moved some to capture him instead of which he changed sides and I was able to use him myself...is this a bug or some way of recreating the historical 'Bernadotte changing sides' type situation?

Its a bug - but since generals aren't being produced as fast as I think they should be, I think you should take full advantage of it.
