Reinforcing infantry

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Reinforcing infantry

Post by Jutland »

May sound dumb, but can existing units be reinforced or do they just constantly get erroded through battle and attrition until they are no longer useful?[&:]

They can be reinforced either by the AI, or manually by you transfering manpower from one div to another. Both are covered in the manual, for auto reinforcing from your draft, make sure they are beside a depot.

I believe the depot needs to be in the same province as the troops to get reinforcements.

yea, opening turn for France, you need to pull some troops out of the Army to let them rebuild

with the new reinforcement rules, it is even HARDer

in country, you get a max of 2000 men, down to 500 in enemy Provinces
