Patch not loading

Post by BigSnig »

How does one get the 1.04 patch to load. I placed the extracted appl file in the same folder with the original appl. When I get to the menu screen it still show v 1.00x.

Is there some other place to check what version is running other than the menu screen?

It would be helpful to provide step by step instructions on how to download, extract and place patch files. Some of us are not very computer literate

Well I am totally confused by this statement. There is no file to move anywhere.

The download is a zip file.
It should be extracted to a temporary area.
You should then RUN the excutable to have it update the system.

Does not matter where you place the extracted (unzipped) file. Just doubleclick that unzipped file to start the update process (you will see an update wizard window come up and ask you for your serial code).

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I got it. I hadn't done the double click step.
