Rookie needs guidance

Post by gunnergranville »

Been playing for about a week and loving it. I thought I was doing OK, working through the scenarios in turn, picking up tips and developing strategies, until I came to a dead stop with "Castle Hill 44". Seems I have to understand working with Command Control and Orders which all seems a bit beyond me at the moment. I'd like some advice on which scenarios to play to give me a more gradual learning curve so I don't have to sit down for a week and digest the whole manual. Any thoughts or lists of favorites would be appreciated. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

You can turn Command Control off in Preferences. Personally, I prefer to leave it off. The "general" game tutorial is what I'd use if and when I decide to learn more about it.

Retreat is NOT an option.
