Armies dissapear

I encountered a few times in my games. Armies dissapear from the map, though still visible in the military screen. Would be nice if you could select units on the military screen and go to them on the map.
Sometimes when diplomats get expelled they can also be hard to find, so would ease gameplay.

We think the disappear is one bug - when there are too many units inan area, some are no longer visible. It seems to be related to the physical size of the area ont he screen - its very easy to see this bug in Corsica. There are two workarounds:
-- using the +/- keys to cycle through units that haven't moved yet often allows you to select the unit and move it away from the crowded area
-- moving some units away

People often try toggling the 'compact stacks' setting, but thats never helped me with this problem.

BTW - your idea of jumping to the unit from the military screen is a great one - its on the 'frequently requested features' list.
