general difficulty level ??

now i have played about 9 pbem games - but is the 1st time i saw -- CUSTOM -- in the - game options -- thought there was only 5 settings -- easy, normal, challenging and impossible !! -- any one have any thoughts on this ???? [&:]

The 5 settings (easy, normal etc) are simply preset values of +supply, +attack and +rail capacity used when playing the AI.

If none of those 5 preset settings suit you or you want to adjust things for PBEM play there is the option to manually set the values yourself. For example you might agree with your opponent to give German +5 supply per turn and Russia 120% rail cap. Then you can set that and play.

You will want to click on Game Options.
