Error when bringing a player off the DL at the end of the season

After playing to October 1st, a player on the 15 day DL was ready to come off the DL. I got the message, the sim completed the day, then I got an Error-91. I clicked Ok and the game continued, or so I thought.

The team screen gets the following error whenever I try to load it:

Error loading expansion pack. Error code: Automation error The callee (server [not server application]) is not available and disappeared; all connections are invalid. The call may have executed

When I click Ok on that error popup, I am taken to the Association menu. Any time I click on something else, I get the error popup, then I am sent back to the Association menu.

My league is a fictional one, 16 teams, 2 divisions. I let the league play until 2049, when I took over.

Also, is it possible to split the stats by team for the current season someway. That way, it would be easier to tell how a player has done since he was traded.

After finishing my week in my league (the same one from the previous error...I was able to continue playing), I received an error 91. At that point, I was in the same situation that I was in before...on the Team Management screen, I have no selections on the left. If I click on anything, I get expansion pack error. However, I don't remember loading an expansion pack for this install.

edit: If I close the game, then reload, I am able to play as normal.

Sorry for the delay in uploading the file. It's taking forever to upload. It'll be on it's way sometime between now and tomorrow morning.

Just an update: I'm playing the same game still, and the error is coming up more often. I'm always able to fix it by quitting and restarting.

Just to be clear, do you only get the error after getting a DL prompt? If not can you give me the exact steps I can use to reproduce? Also, I am only concerned with the steps leading up to the error 91. Any strange behavior after the 91 is simply due to the original error (e.g. the expansion pack error message etc...)

The first couple of times, it was after a DL prompt. The times after that, there was someone on the DL, but there was no prompt for them to return.

I've been trying to narrow it down to what produces the error, but I haven't been able to yet. I'm going to move the save game to my XP laptop and play it there to see if I can reproduce the error.

Sorry the report isn't more accurate, but so far, it's been a fairly random error. I'll let you know what I find, if anything.
