Are you thinking of adding German Raiders and Uboats to the Indian Ocean?

Ah ha... here's the answer to my own question.

Japanese Ambassador General Hiroshi Oshima in the name of Japanese Army bought one example of the Panzerkampfwagen PzKpfw VI Ausf E Tiger I Tank with additional advanced equipment, and the Navy received examples of the German Submarine Type IXD-2 Ausf "Monsun" and other submarines, such as the U-181(Type IXD-2)(Japanese sub I- 501), the U-862 (Type IXD-2),(Japanese submarine I-502), Italian submarines "AQUILA III" (Japanese submarine I-503), and "AQUILA VI" (Japanese submarine I-504), U-219(Type XB) (Japanese submarine I-505), the U-195 (Type IXD-1) (Japanese submarine I-506), two Type IXC submarines (Japanese submarines RO-500 & RO-501), and Flagvierling 20 mm antiaircraft cannons, with a disarmed V-2, etc.

EDIT: So, interstingly enough, upon further reading, the I-501 thru 506 were all turned over because there were in Japanese ports when Germany surrendered. They were overhauled, but not enough Japanese sub crews were around to send them out on patrol. Are these ships in the stock scenario? If not maybe I have found my first scenario project! (Or at least I can help with someone elses 'larger' project)They were taken over in July, and a couple made it back to Japan for torpedo tube refits (to fit Nippon torps), but they got there just in time for the surrender in August. In WITP, since the game can maybe go into '46, these subs might see some action.

Oh, you Aussie... I came within an hour of proposing this myself! Beaten to the punch AGAIN. I don't know what I could contribute to a German team, but I'd definitely be interested in finding out. Can't draw for shite, but we've already got artistes here.

I am already doing some art for this project and will most probebly if this Idea I have can work will need to put together a team

the game engine will not allow a new country but I think I have a way around still investigating but have a thougth lots of em on how to introduce Germany as a new factor
ending up with possiblity of Japan WINNING !!!!
by the nothing to do with CHS in fact just the opposite !!!

Hmmm ... A hypothetical scenario where Nazi Germany subdued the Soviet Union in December of 1941 and thereby gained control of Soviet bases in WiTP?

I believe this scenario was discussed a bit in one of these forums quite a few months back. It would be interesting.

I was thinking about something similar.

With Andrew Brown's modified map, you could make Aden Japanese with German troops installed.

Simulates an Axis win in North Africa.

Course, the Germans (and Italians) would have to be sub-ordinate to Japan.

Would make for some interesting Axis convoys, with Allied interdiction from India - if India can be kept Allied.

Well, if you need any help on the above mentioned submarines (unless they are already in the game, I haven't checked yet) I can put some time and effort into the ships, but not the art.

How about this for a scenario

Feb 42 in a surprise move, the ships in Operation Cerberus break out south instead of north. In a round about route avoiding Allied contact the squadron shows up in Penang just in time to be refitted for the battles in Iron Bottom Sound.

Perhaps they could be teamed up with the Northern breakout that was proposed for Cerberus, with the Tirpitz Hipper and Scheer joining up too
