Fog of war bug

Post by toddtreadway »

Currently, when you see a unit when playing with fog of war by moving next to that unit, but then move away so that you are no longer adjacent, it will stay displayed on the map until either you save the game or until the next country's turn (even if that next country is allied).

I'd like to have the displayed units stay on the map in both of those situations. This is, after all, not a memory game (unless I've forgotten that it is). ;)

For example. I save the game and continue it tomorrow. When I reload it, unless I actually have a unit adjacent to the enemy unit those enemy units won't be seen.

Also, if I'm playing PBEM as Germany and send the turn to my Japanese ally, the Japanese player won't see the enemy units unless there is currently an Axis unit next to them.

That's a save game bug that needs to be added to our bug list.
