Problems with Primary fire, F9, and going foward

Ok, First off joy 1, primary fire works for about the first 3 seconds of a mission then just quits. Neither ctrl or Joy1 work. If I hold down joy1 when I launch the green lasers streak off into the distance then about 2 to 3 seconds later they just quit.

Secondly when I try and remap anything F9 is throwin in there. I hit the clear button but F9 is still there.

Lastly my ship won't go. The thrust bar is at max. I can thortel it up and down with the throtel on my joytick and the a and z keys. The little graphic for thrust fills up and empites but the ship still sits there.

I've tried reinstalling twice. Also, I'm using the demo version.

Any ideas would be greatly apreciated.

You've probably burned the trigger out on the 'stick. Try mapping fire to a different button on the stick.
