Strategic Bombing

Post by toddtreadway »

When strategic bombing either damages or destroys a factory, what happens to the units being produced by that factory?

The rules say this:

At the end of any player’s Movement/Combat Phase, any region without at least one Factory will have any units in
production immediately scrapped. This can happen if Factories are moved by Rail transport out of a region while
units were still in production in the region.

Should I assume that even an area with factories totally destroyed by strategic bombing still keeps its units it was producing?

Also, if a factory was damaged or detroyed by strategic bombing, will the repair of that factory on your own turn allow production from it that same turn? If so, does it matter whether it was repaired during the movement phase or production phase?

How about resources? I think even repairing resources during your turn won't matter, since the resources are all generated at the beginning of each German turn.

Units on the factory are not destroyed by damage to the factory. Factories will not produce on the turn fixed (neither will resources).
