Can we do a full 8 player game here? NEWB

I am a newbie. I still haven'T figured out all the nooks and crannies of this game, but I can navigate myself around the basic interfaces, and I hope to learn as I play, like I did with war in the pacific, which I now master. I was hoping for a full 8 player game. I don't really care what nation I would play, although I would prefer one of the easier factions, maybe Spain or Prussia. Anyways the date doesn't matter much either, although I must say I am quite partial to the 1796 scenario.
