German Fall/Winter Movement in Russia

Post by Fallshirmjager »

Could it be feasible to apply a movement penalty to armored units in russia in the fall. say decrease it to 1 instead of two. I know theres the attack penalty for the germans in there winter turn. but the game could be more historically accurate if you incorporate the russian "mud season" the autumn rains that brought the panzer divisions to a halt requiring horses to pull the mark IV's outta the mudholes. it would have to be applied to the soviet armor also. but i guess that could slow the game down. by the way why is the penalty for the winter attack if you attack in winter 41, the following winter. it doesnt make sense but i guess it doesnt have too.
