Janisarries?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Janisarries?

I'm on my first game as Turkey. I start with a Div of Janisarries, but not the many that Turkey seems to throw at me when I'm another nation. Are they like AI levied militia and only show up when you are operating at 100% readiness?

The ones I have appear to be no better than militia...they don't even have hats!...LOL Will their morale improve as my barracks level increases?

I'm only operating at 50%, keeping my taxes low while throwing every spare dollar into upgrading everything but walls and guns while subsidizing my favorite country.

Janisarries come from feudal levy. If military readiness is below 100% then there is no feudal levy. Morale should improve as barracks improve.
