Bug list per oct. 5th

Gary Grigsby's World At War gives you the chance to really run a world war. History is yours to write and things may turn out differently. The Western Allies may be conquered by Germany, or Japan may defeat China. With you at the controls, leading the fates of nations and alliances. Take command in this dynamic turn-based game and test strategies that long-past generals and world leaders could only dream of. Now anything is possible in this new strategic offering from Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games.

Bug list per oct. 5th

Post by JanSorensen »

I am giving a hand with handling the bug list for GGWaW. Mostly I am collecting information leaving the actual decisions and fixing to the actual developers and programmers. So, I am just another player that happen to be giving a hand.

In order to get the bug list as current and complete as possible I would hope for your help. I have attached a file with the current bugs - download it and change the extension to .xls so it will open with Excel.

Please post any bugs missing from the list, any saves you may have for the entries that lack one or just post comments in generel. If you prefer to mail me rather than post then my email is janbs@stofanet.dk

One note though - please consider that its a bug list. As such suggestions for improvements are not the focus point - fixing bugs are.

What if we don't have Excel? Could you just put the list in notepad?

I suggest trying a free Excel Viewer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=EN if you dont have access to Excel-

I havent tried it myself but I expect it should let you view the file I posted.

I will post an updated list once the beta patch with online play is out.

Feel free to report any bugs you find.

I am in particular looking for:
- a saved game showing fleets returning to a frozen port (need save before and after the retreat)
- a saved game showing partisans in Bulgaria (need save before and after the retreat)

I sent Paul the Bulgarian paritsan save.

That is to long ago, so the save and e-mail about it were deleted. If Paul doesn't have it, I don't know what to do.

The bug list is currently in the Beta Patch forum while the limited beta is ongoing.
