army stuck in Venetia

In a recent PBEM game I recently defeated AU as the French. I noticed after their surrender, that I'm unable to move the Army of Italy out of Venetia. Is this a bug, or are my men just taking a much needed vacation?

In addition [:@]the Turkish player was getting a notice that the French could do a new upgrade. But as the French player I never received this. Have other players noted this?

See the various threads on this--basically you use the Violate Territory option to move out (right-click on province). But things might be a little different in 1.2 once it comes out.

1.2 should also fix any remaining difficulties with selecting from the upgrade list, I think.

Sorry about this being in here, BUT... I am unable to download the patch for COG, and get a message saying it's corrupt. I have tried to open a new thread but can't do so and I don't know why, the game downloaded / installed ok but I would like to do the patch. This is the wrong place to post this, but where should I post please?
ps: have signed in ok every required
