New Air Combat Screens

Post by Tankerace »

Since you guys have seen a lot of naval surface battles and land battle screens with the AAR and screens, I thought you'd enjoy some air combat screens from the 1926 scenario.

Image
The Carriers Hosho and Shokaku are sighted off of Manila. VT-20 comprised of DT-2s, and the 28th Sqdrn (Bombardment) of DH-4s attack.

Image
The DT-2s are driven off, but the DH-4s attack, without success.

Image
Hosho and Shokaku then launch against an American Cruiser Squadron, putting a 45cm Torpedo into the Protected Cruiser New Orleans.

Image
The result of the damage. Light Flt damage, but sys wise this cruiser is out of the war for a while.

Image
The next days attacks against the Japanese ships is beaten off, but this time they launch against a French Cruiser Squadron. The Desaix eats a 45cm Torpedo.

Image
The old Desaix doesn't fair quite as well as the New Orleans.

These screens were taken with the deep color and alt font switches on.
