I've actually seen some film of this being launched from a prototype catapault launcher, during tests at Farnborough. The film came out of the archives at the IWP. Sadly the film group which I've been going to three times a year since , well, forever, is closing on Monday 17th October as we can no longer be sure of the venue.

I bet few of you have seen a cinema packed to the rafters with people to see old B&W (and some colour) film of equally old aircraft, some of dating from the 'teens or 'twenties. I'll be very sad that night.
