What's your favorit country to subject Europe?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Just wondering if you've got a country to which you always return. Mine is Prussia ('92): I like that big virgin Poland as a neighbour, ready for the take. Prussia+Poland is very self sufficient and ready to take on whoever[:D]

Prussia is my favorite any time...I'm waiting for the Wars of Austrian Succession/Seven Years War variant[:)] I never try to take all of Poland because I don't like being in the Bad Boy spot. If I do take it, I give generously to France who always seems to be giving away territory to Austria and Britain. I'm happy with Posen, Thorn, and Warsaw. It's easier to trade provinces.

The Polish provinces are very money poor. I'd rather have the rich German minors.

Regrettably, Prussia was devoid of superior leaders. Does this latest patch let us have other nations'?

If you fight a good battle...even in DB, you get more leaders...and some have pretty hot ratings...even if they are one-star generals.

I've been playing 1796 lately and Prussia has oodles and oodles of leaders. I haven't tried 1792 since the new patch came out.

New leaders are welcome, as long as they won't call themselves as simply as David or Robert. And, withal, why no leaders with more stars?

Name one able prussian commander before the refroms of 1806 (or 1808?). IMHO that's why.

I'm waiting for the Prusso-Austrian & Franco-Prussian 1866-1870 variant (hmm. . think of military upgrades like breech loading guns, the auftragstaktik, cavalry as reconnaissance units, telegraph, etc. etc.)!

in 1.2 you get 1 or 2 star Generals, it is all a die roll

and the General could a great one or a poor one, also a die roll

we had some ideas on how to be able to promote any General, based on this or that, but we ran out of time for 1.2, it is on the list for 1.3
