CHS: Where does it stand on China and Russia OOBs?

Post by Knavey »

I remember a post a while back about the new China OOB. After it was put in, I also recall someone claiming the Chinese had been nerfed instead of beefed up, but I couldn't find that one.

Is Russia being worked on? Or is it done?

Regarding China, I think it will only become apparent how the changes affect China after some more playing of the scenario. I don't know how far anyone has managed to get.

There may be a few tweaks to China in the next update of CHS: I don't like the idea of fixed LCUs outside of bases, so I would prefer to make these mobile again, along with making a small number of other LCUs, that ARE at bases, static.

I am also reviewing Manpower/Resources/HI in China in the same way I did for India. That is still ongoing.

There has been some research into the Soviets, but no-one has started on revising their OOB/TO&E in the scenario, yet.
