The question is whether GoA will be a treat, or a trick!

I think it has already been a nasty trick; hopefully, it can still be a nice Christmas surprise.

Ok, I typed in a much more thorough reply but my hotel internet ran out while I was typing, so it was lost and now you get the brief version.

Anyway, here's a summary...

Until we can clone Frank, we have to work within his priorities and right now his first priority is Black Powder Wars. Guns of August has come along very far, but Frank has some improvements he wants to make and we have a few more requests as well before testing is complete and it's ready for release. Once Black Powder Wars is ready to go, Frank will be able to spend a lot more time finishing Guns of August and I would not be surprised if the two releases are separated by only a few months. We'll post more info here when there is a change in this status - for now, no good news and no bad news but progress continues slowly as time and priorities allow.

Regards,

- Erik

There's even a movie being made about this project. It will be called "The Guns of Neverdone." A commando team goes out to blow up the code, and, when they get there, they find that there never really was any...

In the General Forum, Eric again mentioned that GoA is still a go...good to know the wait will not be for naught....
