Hi .. I have one PBEM going as allies into aug 42, played every few days, Also took one allied game to dec 42 when my opp decided the bugs were killing him ( i consider it a victory as i had taken the marshalls and 1/2 the gilberts too [;)] )

anyway my style has been described as agressive ( lost 4 CV's in one engagement )

However i am open to any and all house rules that are based on common sense or game balance. Also will take on most scenarios and have no problem with the long game as running away is what i have leared best so far. [:D]

I'd also be open to using niks fantastic mod on the vanilla map ( some probs installing CHS and i am not familiar enough with the new units).

Also some lessons i learned from my dec 42 pbem.

I am happy to have 4E allied heavies only fly 11k or above on anti ship strikes, it makes the b25/6 valuable.

I do like the PDU planes , and am happy to play against anyone who wants to upgrade the jap BD to something more useful, this is especially important on niks mod as AA has been tweaked to much more realistic levels .. see the AAR nik vs Speedy for more details.

I would like to start a game that we can do several turns a day if possible as i currently have a lot of spare time and need a WitP fix to stay sane .. anyone tried watching daytime TV [>:]

So in a nutshell .. I'm allied .. maybe use niks mod .. your Japan .. Go nuts !

Hi Rob,

I'd be happy to get a game going with you. I am not super-experienced, but I am functional. I have one PBEM game going as Japan that I started last September and we are up to Aug '42 with a good, close game going.

Not sure if I can manage several turns a day most days, but 7-10 turns per week is no problem. Not sure if this meets your needs.

Don't care what house rules we use since I am neither a 'power gamer' nor someone who lives to win - it's the journey that I enjoy. I like to chit-chat a little on the way, though, so if you're a 'no comment' PBEM'er, then I'd rather wait for someone else.
